Reading Challenges

Happy 2015 everyone! Any specific bookish challenges you have for this year? Right now, I just want to make sure I get my review requests completed in a timely manner. I currently have 6 books to be reviewed. Those are my priority.

UPDATE: Well, I didn’t complete my October reading challenge. I read Signs of Life and made it halfway through Night, but In Cold Blood has yet to be opened. It’s time for November’s reading challenge.

October has just started so now is the perfect time for a new reading challenge.

1 Month = 3 Books

The Goal- to read (completely that is, cover to cover) 3 new books. I’m trying to be realistic here as I have a job and a small child and a husband in school and yaddi, yaddi, yadda. I figure 3 books should be (hopefully) doable.

Once I’ve read each book, I’ll post a link to my review. Here’s my intended list:

1. Signs of Life– Natalie Taylor (memoir)

2. Night– Elie Wiesel (fiction)

3. In Cold Blood– Truman Capote (creative non-fiction)

There you have it! Hopefully, I’ll be able to get these read and reviewed this month. I’ll update this page with my progress. What are your reading challenges for this month?
